Use a slowly changing dimension (SCD) customer schema to preserve key profile attributes over time while keeping a stable business key that can be joined to events and identity data. In a CDP, this SCD table feeds the identity graph, where deterministic and probabilistic stitching link login IDs, emails, and device IDs into a unified customer profile.​
